A lot has happened over the past two weeks in the BlackMilk Camp. We have been working hard to get our documentary out, are in the process of launching our coffee brand and we’ve watched our viral advert spread across the internet at quite a pace.

But it’s not been ‘all work and no play’. We had a pleasant break from all the seriousness on last week Tuesday with a wild rum party. Yes, you bet ya… And not just any rum … But a Sailor Jerry rum party.

It was the first time I got to party with the Sailor Jerry Cape Town crowd and the first time I got to meet Sonja. And boy! We most certainly had fun.

The height of the evening for me was making the official BlackMilk shooter.

BLACKMILK Shooter

• 1/2 part Sailor Jerry rum
• 1/4 part Coffee
• 1/4 part Guinness
